SSEN Black Bridge Inspection Works AND 132kv Underground Cable at Balblair Substation

Update - 4th September:

Neither closures have approval from the Highland Council yet - comments/concerns on the proposed closure should be emailed Highland Council's Road Operations Team here.

SSEN's latest information:

• Closure of A831 (Beauly - Cannich) road section at Balblair Substation - 

The proposed temporary road closures are as follows: 

Closure 1

• Friday 18 September, 1:30pm to Monday 21 September, 10:30pm 

Closure 2

• Friday 02 October, 1:30pm to Monday 05 October, 10:30pm

The road will reopen between these closures to allow normal traffic movements to resume.

• Closure of the C1106 over Black Bridge for inspection works:

The extensive closures planned by SSEN for September and October were withdrawn (for now) via email to the "Fanellan Engagement" list on 2nd September - we await further updates.
